About Us
We are located at the front of the North Carolina Wesleyan University Campus at 201 Tyler Drive in The Gateway Technology Center. Our history began about 25 years ago at the old power plant. The smokestack is our first transmission antenna location!
The founding principles of WHIG TV are ones of integrity, service, charity, and principle. It is our mission to serve our community, businesses, advertisers, and viewers to bridge the gaps in communication. As a TV broadcaster it is the collective responsibility of all media companies to exhibit the highest standards of integrity and provide a service to the community by adding value in our way: to promote businesses, community groups, and organizations through our platform(s). We are thankful to everyone who supports us so that we can in turn support and be of service to the communities we live and operate in.
