Chamber Referrals, Part 2
Chamber Referrals, Part 2
The Wilson Chamber of Commerce is committed to building our market by supporting our member businesses. As the source of countless business referrals, we recommend and promote businesses to customers according to the following priority:
- Chamber Members. We strive to refer our members EXCLUSIVELY, and will refer ONLY our members when we know they provide certain goods or services. Nearly all of our members have a physical presence inside Wilson County. However, even members whose address is outside our footprint have chosen to make significant investments inside our market, so we make every effort to refer them as well. We will give equal preference to all of our members.
- Local Businesses. If none of our members are able to provide certain goods or services, we will refer customers to the next closest business who can. As much as possible, our search will be limited to Wilson County, hoping that those non-member businesses located inside our market will see the value of our referral, and choose to invest in their local chamber.
- Businesses Beyond Wilson. On the rare occasion that a customer need can’t be met locally, we will refer businesses in nearby communities, especially those that are members of their local chamber of commerce. We support North Carolina-based businesses, American-made products, and companies who are committed to giving back to their communities.
While we can make no guarantee of the quality of the goods or services provided by those businesses we refer, simply giving them the chance to compete improves market conditions and the likelihood of customer satisfaction.
