Employee financial wellness the topic of the next Emerging Issues Forum

According to a 2022 survey by the Consumer Finance Protection Bureau, 37 percent of American households would be unable to cover more than a month’s worth of expenses if they lost their main source of income. Employees are an organization’s most important asset, and financial stress at home can impact productivity on the job. Learn how to gain insights on your employees’ financial wellness, which benefits matter more, and how to help your employees strengthen their financial resilience at the 2024 Emerging Issues Forum on February 13, 2024, in Raleigh.

The 2024 forum will cover topics related to employee financial wellness, including how to gain insights into your employees’ financial wellbeing, which employee benefits work best to promote financial wellness and the promise and peril of financial technologies. Attendees will also gain insights on the influence of human behavior on financial decision-making as well as how some pay raises can actually hurt employee financial wellbeing.

Michelle Singletary, personal finance columnist for the Washington Post, is a keynote speaker.
