Introducing...the Bash on Nash presented by Greenlight Community Broadband
The Wilson Chamber of Commerce will host its Bash on Nash presented by Greenlight Community Broadband on Thursday, October 20 from 6:00pm until 9:00pm at the Wilson Arts Center at 204 Nash St. South. This first-of-its-kind event corresponds with National Support Your Local Chamber of Commerce Day, celebrated annually during the third week of October. The event has added significance, as 2022 marks 125 years of service to the community by the Wilson Chamber of Commerce.
In addition to serving as the official Chamber birthday party and celebration of National Chamber Day, the event will also be an opportunity to “spotlight” member businesses. For a cost of $500, Spotlight Sponsors at Bash on Nash will be able to showcase their business at the event in the following ways:
- A dedicated table at the event, including four complimentary admissions
- Spotlight Sponsors are encouraged to decorate their tables with marketing materials about their businesses which can be distributed and exchanged with other attendees at the event
- Promotion and recognition before, during, and after the event
A number of other sponsorship opportunities exist, and businesses are encouraged to contact the Chamber to reserve these limited marketing options.
General admission to Bash on Nash is $50 and includes food, beverages, including wine and beer, and live entertainment performed by Street Revival.
“Few organizations have been serving Wilson continuously for as long as the Chamber,” said Ryan W. Simons, President of the Wilson Chamber of Commerce. “Bash on Nash presented by Greenlight Community Broadband will be a fitting tribute to that service, while celebrating a milestone year, and a national observance commemorating all that local chambers of commerce do for communities across the world”.
According to Simons, while the importance of the Wilson Chamber of Commerce may not be as apparent to everyone as it might be to local business leaders, all have a stake in the success of their local chamber, and are invited to celebrate with them during the Bash on Nash. “Local chambers have a rich history in our country dating back at least as far as the Boston Tea Party. These organizations are vital representative voices for their respective business communities, and if they didn’t exist, they would have to be created. Who else could provide the coordinated and necessary networking, advocacy, marketing, and education programming that the Wilson Chamber provides for local businesses? Who else might businesses rely on in times of uncertainty or crisis? In October, we take a moment to reflect on the important role that our organization plays in Wilson to ensure we have a market where all businesses have a chance to succeed here.”
