This fellowship is more than just a professional development program; it’s a gateway to a world of knowledge and experiences that will enrich our teachers' perspectives and, by extension, the educational journeys of their students. Wilson County is a Tier 1 Economically Distressed County, which means our schools face significant challenges that impact our students’ futures. By contributing to this endowment, you will directly address these challenges, empowering our teachers with global insights and innovative teaching strategies that will benefit generations to come.
 

2. We Are So Close to Our Goal:

 
Go Global NC has already secured substantial local support, including $20,000 from a dedicated philanthropist, $2,000 from local school board members, $1,000 from Providence Bank, and $2,500 from the Kiwanis Club of Wilson—totaling $85,500. To fully fund the endowment, we need just $14,500 more. With your support, we can bridge this final gap and reach our goal.

The Global Teachers program, managed by Go Global NC, has a proven track record of success. Since its inception in 1995, it has enriched over 1,000 North Carolina teachers with immersive learning experiences in 20 different countries. Our goal is to add Wilson County teachers to this prestigious list, equipping them with skills and insights that will transform their classrooms and our community.
