2021 Chamber Annual Meeting presented by Wilson Medical Center- Act II

With our first priority to protect the health and safety of our members, our plans for the 2021 Chamber Annual Meeting presented by Wilson Medical Center may look a little different, but will remain an exciting opportunity for us to kick off the year ahead!  The event will be spread over three "acts", with limited capacity.  Each act is dedicated to a particular focus of our agenda:

Act I - 5:30p until 6:15:  We recognize our departing 2020 Chair, Heather Driver (CopyPro), and the board members whose terms are expiring:  Blake Godwin (ST Wooten), Anita Turnage Jones (Anita's Marketing), Joey Lamm (BB&T, now Truist), and Tracy Wellington (Chick Fil A).

Act II - 6:45p until 7:30:  We'll honor our Ambassador of the Year for their excellence in volunteerism to the Chamber, and award the Chamber's highest honor:  our Distinguished Citizen of the Year Award.

Act III - 8:00p until 8:45:  We'll introduce our incoming Chair for 2021, Dr. LaTanya Simpson (Eastern Carolina Chiropractic), and formally welcome our newest board members:  Erin Day (Community Impact NC), Mark Holyoak (Wilson Medical Center), Kim Schmidt (Schmidt Law), and Tracy Wood (BB&T, now Truist).

During all three acts we'll have plenty of food and refreshments.  Not only is this a great way to congratulate our honorees, but a convenient way to safely network with your peers in the Wilson business community.

As has been customary these past few months, we'll be adhering to a number of safety protocols that are designed to protect the health of everyone attending our 2021 Chamber Annual Meeting:

• Each act of the Annual Meeting will have a strict capacity limit of 25 (which is subject to change according to state requirements).  Early registration is highly recommended.
• You must register in advance to attend individual acts.  You may attend more than one act, but must register for each one separately.
• Upon check-in, we'll perform a temperature screening of all our guests.
• To respect the act times reserved by others, we ask guests to depart their act at the appointed time.

In addition to in-person attendance opportunities, we'll also be streaming all remarks from each of the acts on a platform to be announced soon.  Several sponsorship opportunities are available.  Contact Lindsay Perry for more information.
