Align Wilson Conference

We invite you to join us for the Align Wilson Conference on Tuesday, October 27 as we bring together Wilson’s business community to discuss the issues, priorities, and opportunities that will shape our community’s future.
 
The Align Wilson Conference is the formal introduction of the Chamber’s annual Policy Agenda, and an invitation for our members to propose changes that best serve their business interests.  In addition to Chamber members, candidates for elected office will be invited to the conference, hearing directly from business leaders about the concerns that are of the highest priority to Wilson’s economy and quality of life.  The discussion at Align Wilson will serve to select the one policy issue of focus at the ensuing ReAlign Wilson Issue Forum the following spring.
 
What you can expect at our Align Wilson Conference:

• Guest keynote from Alyssa Morrissey, Director of Legislative and Regulatory Affairs at the NC Chamber, providing attendees with insight into the legislative and regulatory issues shaping North Carolina’s business environment and a broader perspective on the issues and trends that could impact Wilson businesses.
• Detailed presentation of the Chamber’s Policy Agenda, outlining the priorities of the Wilson business community in key pillars identified by our membership.  Following the conference, all members will have the opportunity to offer commentary and revisions to the Agenda for consideration by the Chamber Board of Directors.
• Interactive engagement with attendees to determine which policy issue of primary concern is having the greatest impact on Wilson.  This determination will be the culminating focus of our ReAlign Wilson Issues Forum, to sharpen our efforts at improving conditions that address the chosen policy issue.
