Commercial Lines Customer Service Agent / Account Manager Assistant

Summary of Duties

  • Primary purpose is to assist CSA’s with their daily workflows. 
  • Follow Policies and Procedures as outlined in Agency manual
  • Maintain current Activity Report, Expiration Report and Emails  
  • Assists CSA with Direct Bill and/or Agency Bill Renewal processing
  • Assist CSA with maintaining Data Base by updating Client data as needed (driver list, equipment list, auto list)
  • Assist CSA with daily service needs (Change Requests, Binders, Certificates of Insurance Etc)
  • Assist CSA with follow up on Intent to cancel notices and cancellation notices as needed       
  • Assist CSA with preparing Summary of Insurance for producers and clients         
  • Assist CSA with preparing 3 ring binders and flash drives for delivery to clients
  • Post direct bill payments as needed
  • Assists CSA’s as needed with filing initial claim reports and properly documenting TAM  
  • Assists CSA’s with ongoing Claim service needs   
  • Updates TAM to reflect closed claims and sends Claim surveys to clients
  • Sends Cancel Survey letters to clients that have closed claims
  • Sends received Claim Surveys to Claims managers as needed quarterly
  • Runs open claim report and f/u  on claims over 60 days old (On going project)
  • Receive and process certificate requests from clients or Account Manager   
  • Send out C Account Letters & Work Comp Payroll Letters following monthly renewal meeting.
  • Follow up with companies when renewals/endorsements are not received in a timely manner.
  • Assist CSA with quoting processes when needed
 
 
Position Requirements
  • Must have high school education or equivalent 
  • Maintain a P&C License
  • Knowledge Windows
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of Various Rating Systems
  • Knowledge of Applied (TAM Online or EPIC)
