2021 Public Policy Series #3: NC Secretary of Commerce Machelle Sanders presented by The Action Group

Join us for the third installment of the Wilson Chamber of Commerce’s 2021 Public Policy Series, presented by The Action Group. North Carolina Secretary of Commerce, Machelle Sanders, will offer remarks on statewide economic development efforts, and how those efforts impact the competitiveness of Wilson in a global marketplace.  Following Sec. Sanders’ presentation, Trey Lewis, Regional Representative for US Sen. Thom Tillis will provide members information on the $1T bipartisan infrastructure bill that was passed by the Senate in August.

The Public Policy Series brings together experts on the economy, education, and government to explore the important issues facing businesses in Wilson.  Held four times annually, each event is designed to inform our members on critical issues, and introduce them to policy makers whose decisions have a direct impact on the places they live and work.  Previous series events have included industry updates, local economic forecasts, and presentations from elected and appointed officials.
