Location: Enfield, NC 
Shift: Monday  - Friday  8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Pay: $ 16.00 to $20.00 Base on Experience

Must be Bilingual

Role Overview:

The HR Assistant supports the HR Manager with recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, training, benefits, and administrative tasks. Works closely with employees to maintain a strong workforce and positive company culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit & Onboard: Source, screen, interview, and onboard candidates. Handle offer letters and pre-employment screening.
  • HR Compliance & Administration: Maintain I-9 files, EEO-1 reports, payroll systems, timekeeping, and employee records while ensuring compliance.
  • Employee Support & Communication: Relay policies, procedures, and benefit changes to employees. Assist with open enrollment and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Training & Development: Work with managers to improve hiring, orientation, and training programs to boost productivity and efficiency.
  • Workforce Strategy: Partner with leadership to enhance employee engagement and drive organizational improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (or 3+ years of HR experience, manufacturing preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of HR, labor laws, and payroll accounting.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in HR systems, payroll, timekeeping, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Work Environment:

  • Primarily office-based with extended computer use and meetings.
  • Some onsite interaction with employees in manufacturing facilities, requiring walking, standing, bending, and exposure to hot/cold environments.
